CHILDHOOD

CHILDHOOD

Tender smells in the air -
Oranges, lemons and hay.
Bees are busy on their way,
The day is warm and clear.

Those the days of my youth,
Riding a horse or a mule
To see the pineapples growth
Over the lands up above.

Boots goes soft as wheels,
The knife in my pocket - steel.
